कवितेच्या प्रांगणातला शुक्रतारा हरपला ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- पद्मभूषण मंगेश पाडगांवकर यांच्या निधनाने जीवनावर मनापासून  प्रेम करणारा उत्तम माणूस जसा आज आपल्यातून दूर गेला आहे तसाच कवितेच्या प्रांगणातील शुक्रतारा ही आज हरपला आहे. “या जन्मावर, या जगण्यावर शतदा प्रेम करावे”  असं म्हणत पाडगांवकरांनी सकारात्मक जीवनाला साद घातली परंतू “अशी पाखरे येती आणि स्मृती ठेऊन जाती”  असं सांगत  जीवनाचे सार ही अतिशय साध्या सोप्या शब्दात सांगितले.मराठी साहित्यविश्वाला त्यांच्या लेखणीनं आणखी समृद्ध केलं. तरूणाईला त्यांच्या शब्दांचं विलक्षण आकर्षण होतं हे त्यांच्या अनेक कवितांमधून दिसून येतं. “प्रेम म्हणजे प्रेम असतं, तुमचं आमचं सेम असतं ” असं म्हणत त्यांनी आपल्या शब्दांमधून दोन पिढ्यांमधील दरी सांधण्याचं काम केलं होतं.भावगीतं, बालगीतं, निसर्ग कविता यासारख्या  कवितांबरोबरच त्यांची  जीवनावर चिंतन करायला लावणारी गाणीही विलक्षण होती. कुठे शोधीशी रामेश्वर अन् कुठे शोधीशी काशी” हे गाणं त्याचं एक उदाहरणच आहे.त्यांची गाणी कधी जुनी आणि दु:खी वाटली नाहीत. त

Charging Mobile at Night is a National Waste. For those who have habit of keeping mobile for charging at night.  After 2 hours of charging the mobile is fully charged and for the rest part of night it is connected without any purpose.  As per a recent study approximately 4 watts are consumed during this time. It looks insignificant at personal level. But see the calculation details:: 4 watts x 6 hours of additional charging = 24 Watt-hours. Total active mobile users in India are 800 million. Suppose only 10 % people have this habit of night charging (actual % is much more) there are 8 crore indians doing it everyday. 8 crore × 24 Watt hour = 19.2 lakh KWhrs (units) wasted every night for no reason.  This is 1920 MW power. Govt needs  investment of Rs5 crore to create one MW power generation . So GOI needs investment of approxi Rs10000 crore to cater to this power need. There could be a  little variation in above figures but it is still huge waste of national resource. Think ab💡

Both the visits - Afghanistan and Pakistan were decided two months ago. In international diplomacy, unless extremely necessary, no such 'instant and unscheduled ' trips are ever done. The reason being, the visiting country has to prepare herself to receive such an important dignitary. Security has to be spruced up and other protocols have to be put in place. Forget abroad, a PM can't make unscheduled visits even in India. For all the people who think that the PM went to Pakistan without a visa, please understand that a visa is required for every individual - even PM. Its just that in their cases formalities are completed by bureaucracy very fast. So let us not go overboard in praising the PM because if in reality he has behaved the way you all are describing - then it is absolutely wrong because the nation is not his personal property..
