६५ वर्षांचा मित्र आणि सहकारी गमावलेल्या लालकृष्ण आडवाणी जीं चे सांत्वन करायला, धीर द्यायला - त्यांचे सर्वात जवळचे मित्र अटलजी - यांनी रचलेली संघा बद्दलची ही कविता समर्पक ठरेल... अटलजीची संघावर केलेली एक कविता.. संघ संस्थापक डॉ हेडगेवार सुरवातीला एकटेच होते त्यावर...... कभी थे अकेले हुए आज इतने नही तब डरे तो भला अब डरेंगे विरोधों के सागर में चट्टान है हम जो टकराएंगे मौत अपनी मरेंगे लिया हाथ में ध्वज कभी न झुकेगा कदम बढ रहा है कभी न रुकेगा न सूरज के सम्मुख अंधेरा टिकेगा निडर है सभी हम अमर है सभी हम के सर पर हमारे वरदहस्त करता *गगन में लहरता है भगवा हमारा*

" अटलजींसारखा संयत, समतोल विचाराचा नेता भाजपला लाभला म्हणून देशातले पहिले खरेखुरे कांग्रेसेतर सरकार बनले. आधी बनलेली कांग्रेसेतर केंद्रीय सरकारांचे नेतृत्त्व माजी कांग्रेसजनच करीत होते ( मोरारजी, चरणसिंग, व्हि पी सिंग, चंद्रशेखर हे सर्व माजी कांग्रेसजन ) या दृष्टीने अटलजी हेच पहिले कांग्रेसेतर पंतप्रधान. २००२च्या गुजरात दंगलीनंतर मुख्यमंत्रीना राजधर्माचे पालन करायला अटलजीनी सांगितले होते. पुढे पक्षातील दबावामुळे अटलजींचा सामंजस्याचा सूर क्षीण ठरला . भाजपमधील एक उदारमतवादी व सर्वमान्य नेता म्हणून अटलजींचेच नाव घ्यावे लागेल. अटलजी आधीच्या भारतीय जनसंघाचे, नंतरच्या भाजपचे संस्थापक.  रुढार्थाने सध्याच्या राजकिय नेत्यांमधील असलेल्या अहंकार, मग्रुरी, कपटनीती याचा लवलेश नसलेलं व्यक्तिमत्त्व म्हणजे अटलजी.  सर्वाना हवेहवेसे नेते, तरल कविमनाचे संवेदनाशील नेते. कोणतीही अतिरेकी भूमिका न घेता सर्वसमावेशक भूमिका घेणारे सर्वमान्य नेते. अटलजीचे व्यक्तिमत्त्व म्हणजे अस्सल भारतीय संस्कृतीची उत्कट प्रतिमा. संयुक्त राष्ट्रसंघात हिंदीत प्रथमच भाषण करणारे ते भारतीय नेते. जनता सरका

When Atalji became Prime Minister again in 1997, he had come to Mumbai.  I was the Press Secretary of BJP then. We had organised a Press Conference at Raj Bhavan. As the PC was about to start, he called me and made me sit next to him for the entire Conference. I had goose bumps all over - sitting next to the PM. Later, when I took a Mumbai Press Team to cover the MP assembly election and we met him there, he remembered and commented - Kya Mumbai ki toli Indore me aa gayee...?

हा लेख आधी वाचलाही असेल, पण मा. अटलजींच्या  निधनानंतर पुन्हा पोस्ट करत आहे. . 1953 ची गोष्ट डेहराडून एक्सप्रेसने एक युवक मुंबई सेंट्रल रेल्वे स्थानकावर उतरला. जनसंघाचे कार्यकर्ते बक्षीनी नाव विचारताच त्या युवकाने नाव सांगितले मी अटलबिहारी. प्रवासात जेवण वगैरे केले का? असं विचारल्यानंतर हसत हसत वाजपेयी उत्तरले, "मला दिनदयाळ उपाध्याय यांनी दिल्लीहून निघताना काही पराठे आणि हे दहा रूपये वाटखर्चाला दिले होते ." बक्षीने लगेच विचारले 30/40 तासाच्या प्रवासात काहीच खाल्ले नाहीस? यावर पुन्हा एकदा हसले. बक्षीच्या सर्वप्रकार लक्षात आला. सायंकाळी पार्ल्याच्या टिळक विद्यामंदिरात अटलबिहारी वक्ते होते. थोडी विश्रांती घेतल्यानंतर बक्षीनी त्याना तयार व्हायला सांगितले. अटलबिहारींनी झोळीतून कुडता काढला, पण तो काखेत फाटला होता. बक्षीनी विचारले जनसंघाच्या व्यासपीठावरुन तू फाटका कुडता घालून भाषण करणार? मग अटलबिहारींनी दुसरा कुडता काढला तर तो मानेवर फाटला होता. सरतेशेवटी त्यावर उपाय म्हणून अटलबिहारी जाकीट खालून भाषणात रवाना झाले. मुंबईतील अटलबिहारींच्या पहिल्या भाषणाने श्रोते मंत्रमुग्ध

"Agli baari - Atal behari".. Agli baari Atal behari...This was the mantra which kept us BJP karyakartas going, kept our spirits high for so many years.. We lost in 1980. Atalji is no more. A great era of Indian politics ends with him. Atal ji - the politician and former prime minister captivated hearts of millions with the brilliance of his speech.  In more than six decades that he spent in active political life, Vajpayee has been noted for being the moderating force in the BJP, for emphasising on the need for making India a nuclear-armed state, and for being a staunch believer in Gandhian socialism and secularism.  Ye t, if there is one aspect of Vajpayee that will always define the persona of Vajpayee then that is his awe-inspiring oratory skills. Facts about the Rafale deal. 1. The  Indian Air Force  (IAF) requires a minimum of 42 fighter squadrons to achieve optimal capability but between 2000-2012 its actual strength declined to 34 squadrons due to obsolescence 2. The original proposal to buy 126 fighter aircraft was first mooted during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s NDA government. The RFP for procurement of 126 MMRCA was finally issued in 2007 3. IAF then conducted technical evaluations and flight evaluations and in 2011, declared that Rafale and Eurofighter Typhoon had met its criteria 4. Rafale was declared L-1 bidder in 2012 and contract negotiations began with its manufacturer,  Dassault Aviation   , that year. 5.
