बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांचा आज 17 नोव्हेंबरला पाचवा स्मृतिदिन. त्यांच्या निधनानं महाराष्ट्राच्या राजकीय पटलावरचा झंझावात विसावला. अशी कल्पना करू या की, 51 वर्षांपूर्वी शिवसेना जन्मालाच आली नसती, तर महाराष्ट्राचं राजकीय चित्र आज कसं दिसलं असतं? मराठी समाज आणि 'मराठी माणूस' कोणत्या स्थितीत असते? शिवसेना स्थापन झाली तेव्हा मी कॉ़लेजमध्ये होतो...1966 ची ही गोष्ट. त्यांच्या पहिल्या जाहीर सभेला हजर होतो. मीच नव्हे तर माझ्यासारखे विशीच्या अलीकडचे-पलीकडचे अनेक तरुण तिथं होते. बाळासाहेबांच्या त्या जाहीर भाषणात त्यांनी तरुणांना राजकारणापासून दूर राहायला सांगितलं होतं. केवळ, मुंबई आणि महाराष्ट्रच नव्हे तर मराठी माणूस आज ज्या दुर्दशेतून जात आहे, त्याचं मुख्य कारण आहे - राजकारण! अशा आशयाचं ते भाषण होतं. मराठी भाषा, मराठी अस्मिता, मराठी संस्कृती, शिवाजी महाराजांचा तेजस्वी वारसा हे सर्व जपण्याची आणि समृद्ध करण्याची जबाबदारी इतिहासानं आपल्यावर सोपवली आहे. मराठी तरुणांनी तो वसा घेतला पाहिजे, असं आवाहन त्यांनी केलं. खरं म्हणजे, तेव्हा ते 'बाळासाहेब' नव्हतेच. Modi Cabinet - new decisions The Modi Cabinet approved the increase in the carpet area of houses eligible for interest subsidy under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for the Middle Income Group under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the increase in the carpet area of houses eligible for interest subsidy under the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) for the Middle Income Group (MIG) under Pradhan MantriAwasYojana (Urban). To further enhance the scope, coverage and outreach of the Scheme, the Cabinet has approved the following: i. increasing the carpet area in the MIG I category of CLSS from the existing 90 square metre to "up to 120 square metre" and increasing the carpet area in respect of MIG II category of CLSS from the existing 110 square metre to "up to 150 square metre"; and ii. making the above change effective from 01.01.2017 i.e. the date the CLSS for MIG had become effective
