The Rajasthan High Court has ordered that driving license of those who use mobile phones while driving, should be cancelled. The order was passed by a Bench of Justices  Gopal Krishna Vyas and  Ramchandra Singh Jhala  after taking note of two documents submitted by the Advocate General which pointed to increasing road accidents due to use of mobile phones while driving. “Learned Addl. Advocate General has submitted before us two documents viz. communications dated 26.04.2018 so also advertisement issued by J.D.A. for construction of road. The said documents are taken on record. After considering the communication dated 26.04.2018 sent by the Addl. Police Commissioner, Traffic, Commissionerate, Jodhpur, we are of the opinion that the drivers of four and two wheelers are usually using mobile while plying the vehicles, which is not permissible under the law. More so, due to said act of vehicle drivers, number of accidents takes place.” The Court, therefore, directed that State

Amit Shah and Election ka Jumla. When BJP President Amit Shah gave a straight forward answer to a question about the so called promise of PM Narendra Modi to deposit Rs. 15 lakhs in everyone's account, he would not have imagined the furore it was going to cause in future. What wrong did Amit Shah say? Nothing. To the question by the media as to when the Govt would deposit Rs. 15 lakhs in everyone's account, Amit Shah had answered that it was an election idiom or rhetoric. Amit Shah answered it in Hindi by saying that it was an " election jumla." The opposition was swift to twist his answer and harped on the word 'jumla' as if Amit Shah had committed blasphemy and that Modi had lied to the people of the country. Actually, Amit Shah answered nothing wrong. He said that what Modi used to say in his speeches was an election idiom or rhetoric. What is an idiom ?
