दरी व दुरावा शेतकरी हा भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्थेचा कणा आहे - मी लहान असताना हे शिकलो - आता माझी मुले ही तेच शिकली. जय जवान - जय किसान हा नारा गेली ७० वर्षे या देशातील लोक देत आहेत. शेतकरी आत्महत्या बद्दल वाचले की मन सुन्न व्हायचे. त्यांच्यासाठी काहीतरी केले पाहिजे असे वाटायचे. 2008 मध्ये त्यांना मदत म्हणून संपूर्ण कर्ज माफी देण्यात आली त्याचे सर्वांनी स्वागत केले . मात्र यावेळी जेव्हा शेतकर्यांनी आपल्या आंदोलनाचे नेतृत्व काही राजकीय पक्षांच्या हातात दिले - त्या पक्षांनी ज्या निंदनीय पद्धती ने आंदोलन चालवले - त्यामुळे शेतकरी वर्गाने सर्व सहानुभूति गमावली. एवढेचच नव्हे तर शहर विरुद्ध ग्रामीण असे चित्र निर्माण झाले आहे. पटत नसेल तर मला Whatsapp वर आलेली पोस्ट शेअर करीत आहे ती वाचा - यापुढे शेतकरी, त्यांचे नेते आणि त्यांच्या चमच्यांनी शहरी माणसाला पैशांवरून शिकवायला जाऊ नये... अदानी, अंबानी, मालया यांना बोलायचा हक्क तुम्ही गमावला आहे... यापुढे तुम्ही अन्नदाते, बळीराजा वगैरे काही नाही... तुम्ही सुद्धा धंदा बुडीत खाती घालवणारे व्यावसायिक आहात... सरकारी कर्मचारी, नेते याप्रमाणे तुम
