*The Delhi High Court has scheduled the next hearing on November 2, 2026, on the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) petition in the National Herald money laundering case.*

• The Case: The ED has challenged before the High Court the December 16, 2025, order of the Rouse Avenue Court, in which the lower court declined to take cognisance of the ED’s chargesheet.

• Latest Development: During the hearing on October 12, 2026, the Delhi High Court bench headed by Justice Sachin Datta refused to stay the process of releasing the properties of Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and scheduled the next hearing for November 2nd, 2026.
