The Vanjari caste Nowadays, it has become fashion to tomtom your backwardness if you are in politics, govt sector or education. For obvious reasons. We find many political leaders proclaiming that they are backward - because that is what sells now. Hence, I decided to study the origins of various castes to find out who is more backward and how. Today, I give information about the Vanjari caste. The Vanjari is a community in India; they live spread throughout the country but have a sizeable population in the state of Maharashtra. शेतजमीन विषयक महत्वाच्या संज्ञाः भाग-4 वहिवाट रस्ताः वहिवाट रस्ता ज्याला गावठाण रस्ता, शेत रस्ता, बांधावरील रस्ता वगैरे म्हणता येईल. तर असे आहे कि काळ बदलला, वाटेहिस्से जास्त पडु लागले, जमीनींचे भाव गगनाला भिडले तसे जमीनींचे मोठ्या प्रमाणात व्यवहार होऊ लागले आणी त्यामुळे जमिनीचे छोटे छोटे तुकडे झाले. जमीन मालक बदलले. त्यामुळे काही ठिकाणी नवीन खरेदीदाराला त्याच्या जमिनीत जाण्यासाठी रस्ताच उपलब्ध नाही पण शेती कसण्यासाठी शेतात मजूर घेऊन जावे लागते, बी-बियाणे, खते, यंत्रसामग्री इ. न्यावे लागते तसेच उत्पन्न निघाल्यानंतर माल उचलण्यासाठी बैलगाडी किंवा ट्रॅक्टर न्यावे लागते अश्यावेळी समोरचा जमीन मालक रस्ता देत नसेल तर शेतकऱ्याची मोठीच अडचण होते. आपल्या मालकीच्या जागेवर जाण्यासाठी रस्ता मिळणे हा प्रत्येकाचा कायदेशीर अधिकार (Right of Way) आहे. अश्यावेळी शेतकरी अथवा जमीनमालक यांना रस्त्याची मागणी शासनाकडे म्हणजेच सक्षम अधिकारी / तहसिलदार यांच्याकडे करता येते. वहिवाट प्रकरणातील तहसीलदार यांची भूमिका: जमीन महसूल कायद्याच्या कलम 143 नुसार जमीन धारण करणार्या व्यक्तीला स्वत:च्या मालकीच्या जमीनीत ...
