BJP- Shiv Sena Yuti will win Thane and Kalyan seats comfortably, Bhiwandi promises an exciting contest - Alert Citizens Forum survey

The Bharatiya Janata Party - Shiv Sena Yuti shall comfortably win the Thane and Kalyan Loksabha Constituencies while the Bhiwandi seat promises an exciting contest,
These are the findings of a survey of the 3 constituencies done by Alert Citizens Forum[ACF], informs Dayanand Nene, President of the forum.

Thane Loksabha, with appx 21 lakh voters, of whom 12 lakhs are males and 9 lakhs females, will witness a contest between sitting MP, Rajan Vichare of the Shiv Sena and Anand Paranjpe of the NCP. MNS is backing the NCP this time.
The ACF survey, done in the first week of April showed that the BJP - Shiv Sena Yuti to be leading in all 6 assembly constituencies of the Thane Loksabha seat - Belapur, Airoli, Owala - Majiwade, Mira bhayander, Kopri - Panchpakhadi and Thane City.
Trends seen show that if the voting percentage crosses 55%, the Rajan Vichare will win by a margin of over 2 lakh votes. BJP - SS Yuti have very strong support in Kopri -PP, Thane city, Mira -Bhayander and Owala - Majiwade.
However, most surprisingly, BJP - SS has nosed ahead in Belapur also, although Airoli segment showed a closer fight. Rajan Vichare is expected to get about 53% of the total votes.

Similar result appears in the Kalyan Loksabha seat too. Kalyan Loksabha has appx 19 lakh voters of which 8.5 lakh are women.
The contest this time is between sitting MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde of Shiv Sena and Babaji Patil of NCP.

The ACF survey here also shows that Dr. Shrikant Shinde is leading in 5 of the 6 constituencies -, Kalyan [E], Dombivili, Kalyan Rural, Ambernath and Ulhasnagar.
Babaji Patil is ahead only in Kalwa - Mumbra, but that too in the Mumbra segment, which has sizeable Muslim vote. In the Kalwa segment, it is neck to neck.
The survey shows that Dr. Shrikant Shinde shall get over 56 % of the total votes polled, and he too is projected to win by over 2 lakh votes.

The Bhiwandi seat shall witness a triangular fight between sitting MP Kapil Patil of the BJP, Suresh Taware of Congress and AT Patil of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi.
Kapil Patil had trounced the Congress candidate in 2014 but now faces a stiff fight. The constituency has appx 17 lakhs voters and a sizeable Muslim population.
The ACF survey shows a tough fight between the BJP and Congress in the 3 Bhiwandi seats and in Shahpur. However, Kapil Patil is well placed in Kalyan [W] and Murbad segments.
The split in votes between the Congress and Vanchit Aghadi shall benefit BJP candidate and the survey shows that though Kapil Patil may get around 44% of the total votes polled, he will ultimately win this exciting contest.
So it should be 3-0 to the BJP - SS Yuti in this Thane belt.

Regards,

Dayanand Nene
