HOW DOES THE SAVE WATER KIT (SPRING) SAVE UPTO 30% WATER:
A Simple calculation to illustrate the utility of the spring:
■A typical Indian household uses appx. 300 gallons ( 1350 litres) water per day.
■75% of this is used in the Bathroom
■15 % is used in the kitchen
■10 % is used for other purposes.
Take an example of Saket Complex – 672 flats – Water consumption
■Ø 1350 ltrs. X 672 = 9,07,200 litres (appx) of water consumed by the complex everday.
■Ø Assuming that all use the spring and instead of 30%, we calculate @ 20% only, even then,
■Ø 20% of 9,07,200 ltrs. Is 1,81,200 litres of water that can be saved.
The same example shown over 1000 flats :
■Ø 1350 ltrs x 1000 = 13,50,000 litres (appx) water consumed per day.
■Ø 20% of this is 2,70,000 litres of water that can be saved every day.
