The world has been cruel to Israel and the Jews

The world has been cruel to Israel and the Jews:

Prologue:

Israel is a country that only covers about 21,000 square kilometers (not even in the top 150 countries – about the size of New Jersey) and houses about 8.3 million people (which figures to be about 0 .11% of the world’s population).

Yet for its micro mini size, this land is always in the news and always in trouble.

Why are there so many questions about and issues with this tiny nation?  Are they really occupying land that is not theirs?

Should we just believe in the false, one-sided propaganda about what they do and what they stand for, or should we be respectfully looking up to Israel for what they do and what they stand for?

Modern Israel has its origins in the Zionism movement, established in the late 19th century by Jews in the Russian Empire, who called for the establishment of a territorial Jewish state after enduring persecution.

Social and political developments in Europe had convinced Jews they needed their own country, and their ancestral homeland seemed like the right place to establish it. European Jews — 90 percent of all Jews at the time — arrived at Zionism because of rising anti-Semitic persecution.

Between 1896 and 1948, hundreds of thousands of Jews resettled from Europe to what was then British-controlled Palestine, including large numbers forced out of Europe during the Holocaust.

In 1947 the United Nations voted to split the land into two countries. Almost all of the roughly 650,000 Jews went to the blue territory in the map given seperately, and a majority of the Arab population (roughly twice the size of the Jewish community) went to the orange.

The Jewish residents accepted the deal. The Palestinian Arabs outright rejected the proposal. The Arab states of Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Syria all later declared war on Israel, as well (not to defend the Palestinians but to annihilate the Jewish state).

Israeli forces defeated the Palestinian militias and Arab armies in a vicious conflict that turned 700,000 Palestinian civilians into refugees. The UN partition had promised 56 percent of British Palestine for the Jewish state; but by the end of the war, Israel possessed 77 percent — everything except the West Bank and the eastern quarter of Jerusalem (controlled by Jordan), as well as the Gaza Strip (controlled by Egypt). It left Israelis with a state, but not Palestinians.

Here, it is worth mentioning that Israel treated the aggression like a war and went on to defeat the aggressor and put them ever on the defensive, unlike India in 1947 - when Pakistan attacked Kashmir, India approached the United Nations and messed up the issue which the Indian Army could have solved in another couple of days.

Friends, ever since it was formed, Israel and the Jews have been delayed in a cruel manner by the world.

The world has seen uprisings like the one by the IRA in Northern Ireland against the British - Irish people wanting Independence from Great Britain.

It was crushed and the world ignored the Irish.

We have also seen the Tamil uprising in Sri Lanka, involving the LTTE. That too was crushed with the world ignoring the Tamil demands.

Uprising in Lebanon, Hong Kong were similarly crushed.

But the world ecosystem supported movements in Kashmir and Israel.

The Kashmir has seen ethnic cleansing of Hindu Pandits and Israel's very right to survive is being threatened by the Arab Moslem brotherhood.

Foundation of Israel

On May 14, 1948, David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel. U.S. President Harry S. Truman recognized the new nation on the same day.

In May 1946, Truman announced his approval of a recommendation to admit 100,000 displaced persons into Palestine and in October publicly declared his support for the creation of a Jewish state. Throughout 1947, the United Nations Special Commission on Palestine examined the Palestinian question and recommended the partition of Palestine into a Jewish and an Arab state. On November 29, 1947 the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution) that would divide Great Britain’s former Palestinian mandate into Jewish and Arab states in May 1948 when the British mandate was scheduled to end. Under the resolution, the area of religious significance surrounding Jerusalem would remain a corpus separatum under international control administered by the United Nations.

Despite growing conflict between Palestinian Arabs and Palestinian Jews and despite the Department of State’s endorsement of a trusteeship, Truman ultimately decided to recognize the state Israel.

Terrorism and Israel

Terrorism has been a feature of life in Israel since even before the country’s establishment in 1948.

According to data maintained by the Israeli government, as of 2017 approximately 3,100 people have died in terrorist attacks in Israel’s history — the bulk of them victims of politically motivated violence perpetrated by Palestinians.

Following Israel’s establishment in 1948, Palestinian guerrilla fighters known as Fedayeen mounted cross-border raids that resulted in hundreds of Israeli deaths and prompted a number of reprisal attacks by the Israel Defense Forces in the 1950s and ‘60s.

Terrorism grew more sophisticated in the 1960s, with Palestinians launching a number of attacks on Israeli targets abroad and carrying out deadly bombings at home.

In the 1970s, Palestinians, led by the PLO and Yasser Arafat, successfully pulled off a number of high-profile attacks, including the 1972 murder of 11 members of the Israeli Olympic team in Munich, Germany, the 1976 hijacking to Uganda’s Entebbe Airport of an Air France plane en route from Tel Aviv to Paris, and the infamous 1974 attack on a school in the northern Israeli town of Maalot that culminated in the deaths of more than two-dozen people, 22 of them children.

Two groups founded in the 1980s became major sources of terrorist violence in the 1990s and beyond and marked a shift from the avowedly secular Palestinian militants of the 1960s and ‘70s to an Islamic religious violence aimed at liberating Muslim lands from Jews. Hamas, which was founded in 1987 as an offshoot of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, emerged as a major terrorist group after it carried out the first suicide bombings on Israeli targets in the mid-1990s. During the Second Intifada, Hamas was responsible for a number of high-casualty suicide attacks, including the Sbarro restaurant bombing in Jerusalem in 2001 (15 killed), the Dolphinarium disco bombing in Tel Aviv in 2001 (21 killed) and the 2002 bombing of a Passover seder at a Netanya hotel (30 killed).

Another Islamic terrorist group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, founded in 1981, is financially supported by Iran and is linked to Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group active in Lebanon. Islamic Jihad was responsible for the Maxim restaurant suicide bombing in Haifa in 2003 (21 killed) as well as a number of bus bombings. Numerous other smaller Islamic terrorist groups have also carried out deadly attacks on Israeli targets in the last two decades.

Beginning in 2015, Israelis began to face a new form of terrorism perpetrated by so-called “lone wolf” attackers — individuals with no established connection to a recognized terror group. Known informally as the stabbing intifada, the unrest that began in the fall of 2015 featured a number of attacks by people who wielded knives at civilians or rammed vehicles into pedestrians.

Double Standards of the world

The biggest joke which countries of the world and their misinformation ecosystem have managed to pull off is the projection of a super terrorist group called PLO and their leader Yasser Arafat and now Hamas as "freedom fighters" and victims while branding Israel as a Terror state crushing the rights of Palestinians.

Is Israel as cruel to Palestinian-Arabs as the biased, activist media projects them?:

My dear friends in India, this is bulshit what we have been fed. To be very blunt, Israel is more like the sugar daddy of the Palestinian-Arabs and not some kind of bonafide oppressor.

Israel is more like a strict parent who sometimes says no to have the spoiled child throwing a tantrum.

Israel provides the Palestinian-Arabs with taxation services, government assistance, food for the poor, medical supplies, passports, medical attention, water, sewage, electricity, and a variety of other goods and services as the two current Palestinian-Arab governments, the Palestinian Authority and HAMAS, are too corrupt and inept to provide their own people with basic governance.

That's the bottom line.

No Palestinian-Arab complains very seriously when they receive world class healthcare from Israel's system.

No Palestinian-Arab starves unless his or her government neglects them, which HAMAS does on a vast scale, denying its own people in Gaza, food and sustenance. They neither pay their bills, but Israel still provides them with humanitarian food, water, electricity, and other benefits. The Israelis are literally generous to a fault.

Do you know why the Arabs lost their wars against Israel ?

There is a story of a swift, fierce hunting dog that failed to catch a hare. His master derided him for his failure. The dog answered: “He was running for his life. I was running for your dinner”. Israel is pictured as great and powerful tyrant. The truth is, there are 6 million Israelis determined to SURVIVE the ongoing destructive efforts of 1.8 billion hate-filled Moslems.

The Palestinian people use misery as their main weapon, and if in reality there is not Israeli cruelty, they have to invent it to show the world and act cry babies..

The Palestinians can have peace - but they do not want that. They would lose all they have if they gained independence and became one more forgotten, miserable third world country.

Believe me, if and if only, the two Palestinian Govts decide to distribute evenly all the monetary aid flowing it to their people - the entire people staying in West Bank and Gaza would become millionaires.

So much aid flows in. But the corrupt Palestine leadership are not interested in developing their nation, their people or having peace.

Their target is to annihilate Israel - and that can only be done by whipping international sympathy, being cry babies, playing the victim card and continuing terror attacks on the Jewish state

That has to be avoided - defeated and hence everyone should stand with Israel

On this point, the Hindus of the world can understand Israel's predicament better and affiliate with the Jews in their fight for and right to survival..
