The Media created bogus narrative. That is this entire canard about migrants wanting to "walk thousands of kilometres, with wife and children in tow, in scorching heat, to reach their remote homes". Reason: Sinister plot to derail the Lockdown & defame Modi.
Yess. That is what it is.
When I was young, I had read a novel about a newspaper baron who starts creating news and then print them in the latest edition as "Breaking".
Initially it starts with petty robberies but slowly degenerates into rioting, breaking banks and then murder.
Friends, media is a heady cocktail. A rat race. To stay ahead, in today's jargon, to have more TRP's, you should have the latest "breaking news"..
So you have a Burkha Dutt, a Rana Ayyub, Saba Naqvi, Sagarika Ghose, Rubbish Kumar, Rajdeep Sardesai likes to create a "Breaking News" and the leftist leftovers gang - ready to raise orchestrated noises against the ' anti poor, anti labourer Govt, blame Modi, create chaos in the country and sully BJP's and Modi's image in minds of the people.
How is the plot?
What is common amongst all the above people? A virulent anti Modi hatred which runs in their blood and defines all their moves.
Another thread is, these are all self seeking, fed and grown on favours and crumbs thrown by the Congress, whose only interest is self eulogization & let the nation go to hell.
In a way, they are anti-national too. Because they allow the enemies of India to use their narratives to malign India on world forums. And they are mighty pleased when that happens.
Some of them contribute articles to foreign newspapers and journals wherein isolated events are twisted and used to tarnish the image of the government and country abroad.
Therefore I reiterate that this "walk to home" tamasha is produced and directed by this media.
See the sequence of events: Kejriwal dumps hundreds of labourers on UP border telling 'buses are coming for you'.
Seeing no buses, some start walking on the highway.
Around same time, Burkha Dutt reaches there. She gives media exposure to these people walking home, putting words in their mouths, she sells their plight.
Why? She has recently joined a new journalistic platform..mojo.. something.
She needs a breakthrough, which the sight of a few people walking on the highway provide her.
What a story - In a pandemic, a brutal lockdown imposed by that dictator Narendra Modi. Poor getting crushed. Loss of jobs - no money - no food, stranded in cities, want to go home, no transport available - so 'walking back home'.
Then what, she sets out on a pan India trip to meet all such people walking home.
At every pit stop she takes, she reports their plight and criticizes Modi and BJP.
At every stop, every person she talks with is walking atleast 1200 kms plus trying to reach home.. with a wife, kid and old mother in tow, in scorching heat.. the journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step - that first step captured by Burkha Dutt of "mojo"..
After every pit stop Burkha zooms to her next destination. In between she has ample time to post her own pics on SM - what she wears, what she eats - but never has she mentioned that she tried to persuade people not to walk, because the Govt was requesting them not to - or even hitched a hike or lift for any one of them.
Because only if they walk, only then Burkha will again become the rage in the country.
Suddenly you have many people atleast starting to 'walk towards home' all across the country.
I am saying this because there is no clinching evidence that a person or a group has actually walked down in plus of 1200 km to reach their homes.
This because any sensible person will not attempt it on his own - whatever the distress..
This media narrative is dangerous because it gives wrong ideas to some gullible people and in copying the idea unfortunate incidents like the Aurangabad incident happens.
The media gets another "Breaking news" but unfortunately some people lose their lives. Very sad.
Understand what this media wants: they somehow want to defeat Modi - by hook or crook. They know that it is difficult politically, so use other methods to discredit him.
It is time that all nationalists come together and defeat their machinations.
